Queensland Braille Writing Association (QBWA) was fondly known as Braille House, as they have occupied a big old Queenslander in Annerley, Brisbane since 1954. By renaming the organisation ‘Braille House’, it became a familiar and engaging brand name for existing and new clients. Braille House also provides services other than just the ‘writing’ of braille, so the name is more encompassing.
Since rebranding in 2012, MyDesigner has helped Braille House continue to develop and grow by reaching and interacting with a greater audience through targeted marketing material and an increasingly strong online presence which accommodates people who are blind or have low vision. Importantly, as Braille House evolves with modern technology, judicious branding ensures they will retain their amiable personality and reputation for putting people first.
